Muscles, Ligaments, and Tendons
- We have three different types of muscles in our body:
- Skeletal muscles are most important when considering the arrangement of your workstation in the office.
- Skeletal muscles are attached to our skeleton and are termed voluntary muscles because we can move them on command. These muscles are responsible for moving our joints when they contract. For example, contracting our bicep muscle will flex our elbow joint.
